Peugeot 508 launched in the Middle East

Peugeot unveiled the 508 for the Middle Eastern earlier this month. This latest generation Peugeot 508 was first shown at the Paris motor show in 2010 and is currently on sale in Europe, Australia and Malaysia.
'The Middle East automobile market has always been a discerning one, and customers in this region not only display a high degree of knowledge about automobile technologies, but also appreciate quality and luxury,'
said Mr. Jamal Sahl, Regional General Manager, Peugeot - Middle East. 'We have tried to meet these challenging customer demands with the Peugeot 508, which combines strong design elements with new generation technologies and offers high-speed journeys in comfort and style.'
The Peugeot 508 gets standard features like keyless entry and ignition, 4-zone air conditioning, electric parking brakes, xenon headlamps and day running lights.
It comes with a 1.6-litre turbocharged engine that with an output of 156bhp and is coupled with a 6-speed Tiptronic transmission. It will be available in three trim levels, Acces, Active and Allure.
