Sony releases official PS4 unboxing video

Sony has released an unboxing video for the PlayStation 4 that spoofs the video for Daft Punk's Random Access Memories Unboxed

In case you haven't heard, the next generation of video game consoles is on the horizon and it's safe to say that both Sony and Microsoft are going to make every effort to ensure their consoles are on every gamer's wishlist.

To that end, what better way to ramp up the interest in consumers than having someone open up the box of a retail machine and have them show viewers all the different bits and pieces your cash will net you.
Sony's done something a little different with their unboxing for the PlayStation 4, but pretty much lifting the entire environmental layout and sequence of events from the video for the unboxing of Daft Punk's Random Access Memories, released back in May.
The clip shows off the PS4's HDMI cable, its network voucher, Quick Start Guide, DualShock 4 controller, USB cable, mono headset and AC Power chord before granting the viewer a good look at the actual console box itself.
Instead of the French disco duo putting the Sony PS4 through its paces, however, the gloved hands in the unboxing clip belong to Sony Worldwide President, Shuhei Yoshida.
Playstation fans across the UAE will have to wait until December 13 for Sony's consoles to land in retail outlets.
